Malenadu is the region of Sahyadri Mountain range in Karnataka (Western Ghats of India) A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Older than the Himalaya mountains, the mountain chain of the Western Ghats represents geomorphic features of immense importance with unique biophysical and ecological processes. It is filled with abundance of natural beauty with a tropical forest and being the host for many species of flora and fauna.
